Transform Healing Spaces

Art possesses an extraordinary ability to transform spaces, and nowhere is this more impactful than in healing environments. Thoughtfully curated artwork not only enhances well-being but also reduces stress and creates a welcoming sense of comfort for patients, visitors, and staff alike.

At R. Cline ARTS, we embrace industry best practices for healing environments while taking a deeply personalized approach to curating art. Our selections:

  • Promote Serenity: Soft tones and organic forms provide a calming influence.

  • Evoke Positivity: Uplifting imagery instills hope and nurtures healing.

  • Support Connection: Local and culturally resonant works foster belonging and inclusivity.

We go beyond the conventional, investing in research to understand the ethos of each organization and the nuanced needs of those it serves. This often leads us to innovative and unexpected artistic solutions.

Whether it’s vibrant abstracts for waiting areas, light-catching mobiles for lobbies, inspiring murals, or tranquil landscapes for patient rooms, our expertise ensures your space becomes a haven of healing and inspiration.

A Visionary Collaboration

In celebration of National Arts in Health Month, we are thrilled to share highlights from our recent project in the Salt Lake City Valley. Partnering with the groundbreaking Metrodora Institute, which reimagines personalized care for complex chronic conditions, we curated nearly 300 unique artworks to complement their innovative model of care.

Working closely with the visionary interior designer Matt Dickamore, formerly of Denton House, we blended originals, site-specific commissions, and reproductions to reflect the essence of the surrounding Oquirrh and Wasatch Mountains. Textures, colors, and mediums converged in unconventional ways, departing from sterile healthcare norms to create spaces of warmth and reprieve. These environments were crafted as sanctuaries—playful in scale and alive with a palette designed to captivate and comfort.

The Journey of Creation

This project was a meticulous labor of love, spanning 18 months of research, digital binders filled with molding selections and specifications, and countless hours of collaboration. The culmination saw two dedicated trucks arrive at the installation site, one arriving and unloading late on a cold winter evening the same day as departure.

This endeavor was made possible through the dedication and imagination of a visionary owner and design team. R. Cline ARTS is deeply grateful for the trust of such esteemed colleagues and for the opportunity to help bring their vision to life.

Art, when chosen with care and intention, has the power to elevate the human experience—even in the most unexpected places. At R. Cline ARTS, we are proud to be part of this meaningful work.
